comes to understand that the God of the universe calls them His masterpiece;
is assured that their mistakes have not disqualified them from God's unique plan for their life;
learns that their fears can be overcome;
gains the confidence to know that their circumstances do not define them;
discovers that the love of Christ can transform them into a new creation;
or finds peace in the midst of life's challenges, then I have stayed true to my intentions of not making this about myself.
It's my hope that these songs will either remind listeners of the majesty and strength of our God or introduce people to the One who gives life and His love eternally.

Robyn's pick: Each chapter of Girl, Wash Your Face begins with a specific lie Hollis once believed that left her feeling overwhelmed, unworthy, or ready to give up. As a working mother, a former foster parent, and a woman who has dealt with insecurities about her body and relationships, she speaks with the insight and kindness of a BFF, helping women unpack the limiting mind-sets that destroy their self-confidence and keep them from moving forward.
Steve's pick: Yes, this is a book about God - who he is, who he's not, and the staggering implications of who we are as a result. But no, this is not just "another" book about God. God Has a Name is shaped around one incredibly important paragraph in Exodus. In the well-known story of Moses interacting with God on Mount Sinai, Moses asks to see God's glory.
Steve's pick: Jesus Freaks is a book by DCTalk and The Voice of the Martyrs. The name comes from DCTalk's album and song Jesus Freak that they released in 1995. It includes stories and testimonies of Christians from all over the world, past and present, who have been persecuted, tortured, or martyred for their Christian beliefs.
Robyn's pick: Bigger than fear or shame or that voice in your head that whispers that you are not enough, too broken, or too flawed. Join Him in a closer relationship—one rooted in His truth. In this daily devotional, best-selling author, speaker, and activist Christine Caine encourages you to build your faith in our Unshakeable God so you can find confidence to live as the person God created you to be.
